Would any of you guys be down to add Kronwall?

I wouldn't be opposed at all depending on price, of course. I think he'd be the ideal 7th Dman

I wonder about Dean Kukan in Columbus. Older "prospect" who hasn't been given a ton of time on the Jackets' blueline because of their depth but has played very well for their affiliate in Cleveland. Columbus needs forwards and can take on salary, and I think Kukan-for-Frolik could be a trade that helps to ease logjams on both sides.

Well this sucks for Vali and the team. This does give Kylington an opportunity however. This might of been the only way Kylington got a shot as the left side was pretty much spoken for. This will give the team time to see what they have in Kylington.

Didn’t realize; that’s too bad as I’ve always been a big fan of his play, reminded me of a Swedish Regehr.

I was looking at Kukan too and thought he could be a target; might have to retain a bit of salary on Frolik to make it work and to me it would give good competition for Kylington to win the spot while Vali is down.

Any idea if he had injury history before turning pro? Yeah I agree this is concerning.

Missed a handful of games early in 2017-2018 with Tri City. Nothing of note the previous two years in the WHL.

There is nothing recurring here - so there is nothing to suggest he is injury prone.

Don’t even try. This logic is lost on many fans.

Injury prone simply means someone who is prone to injury, there is no no caveat it has to be recurring. Personally I'm a little concerned, that's a large chunk of the last and now next season he will miss, in crucial development years but I won't say he's injury prone, not yet.
Nor am I suggesting his career or potential is finished, before anyone jumps up my butt.

And the only valid evidence of being prone to injury is recurring or chronic problems.
Two random events are not, in any way, evidence of a recurring problem.

No, sorry no.
Someone like Beau Bennett could've been labelled injury prone. Knee injuries requiring braces, wrist surgery, chronic issues with his shoulders, cut himself in practise and hurt himself celebrating a goal.
That injury prone.

So are the circumstances of this injury known now, such that people are confident are calling it random? I haven’t been following the news on this, so I truly don’t know.

That doesn’t make any sense to me. Why was Bennett more likely than others to experience multiple unrelated injuries???

Well it’s an ACL tear, in somebody who hasn’t had ACL repair before, isn’t that all that we need to know?

Some people just injure easier than others. Could be conditioning, could just be body type, little clumsier than most at avoiding injuries, etc.

Well I guess we really don’t need to know anything. An ACL tear during training is certainly unusual for pro hockey players.

I don't f'n know dude. Some people are just like that, it's not limited to sports or hockey players. Everyone grew up with that one kid in class that was always hurting himself, falling down, patch on his eye, hurt himself on the school field trip, broke their leg skiing. Some people just have crap luck or make dumb decisions.

He's not injury prone. Two injuries in a row does not make someone injury prone - just unlucky. Especially at his age.
My benchmark is four major injuries in a row. Then you're talking about injury prone.
