Did have Prybil as my dark horse pick. Guess Not, recover quick.
Going with the little talked about Poirier. When the G.M. says don't count this guy out I would say that's pretty good praise and his first year without the off ice issues will go a long way to resolving what he is.
Could he wind up being another Ferland? Physically imposing player that has skill skating and vision.would be a great story to have some of our earliest draft picks after we seemed to have changed drafting philosophy pan out; later than we would have liked maybe. Would put klimchuk in the same category.

I could see Gillies breaking out if one of Smith or Lack gets injured.

I think Klimchuk has a decent shot... He really improved his 2-way game last year, could definitely see him as a bottom 6 LW option.

I'm surprised to see so many Poirier picks, I think he has a lot to prove. Will need to come out like a bat out of hell in camp I would think. Klimchuck, for example, took a step forward last season and likely has a better shot on paper.

My surprise pick would be Hrivik. Just seems like a guy who could grab a few games since we really don't know much about him.

I believe one of Hathaway, crammarosa, glass are the 12th forward on the opening day lineup.
Other than that, I think klimchuk could be a dark horse.

I've liked what Wotherspoon brought every time he was called up. I would like to see him beat out Kulak for the last roster spot. I think we all agree that this season is his last chance.

After being in attendance for the game in Edmonton last night I'll say Hrivik. Showed some decent skill, has decent size and protects the puck pretty well. Knowing nothing about him he definitely stood out. I could see him being a 4th liner or extra forward to start if he continues to play well.

The way Dillon Dube has been playing, I would love to see him tried at LW with Versteeg (RW) and Bennett (C).

In all seriousness, I can see a situation where Kylington makes the opening night team. He might not stick the whole year, but he's played quite well so far in pre-season action.

I also think Kylington has been good. One thing I've noticed is that he's been lined up on the right side. I'm wondering what side he plays in Stockton?

Have they tried Kylington with a vet like Hamonic or Stone? If not, maybe they oughta....
