So my original 1997 era stereo in my trailer has given up the ghost and I'm looking at replacing it. Anyone have experience/suggestions for a decent suitable RV replacement? I'm looking for something with bluetooth but super simple other than that. Don't want any flashy lights etc. Something that is low power consumption.
So I went to bypass the hot water tank this weekend after camping, and I noticed a tiny leak from from the cold water valve leading towards the hot water tank. We are taking some seepage on the valve and no more than a nickle size puddle.
If you go to the 2:04 mark on this video I have similar valves on mine and the leak is coming from that line on the valve, not from where the valve connects to the pipe.
I was thinking of just picking up some JB water weld putty and hoping that seals the leak before I actually look at swapping out the valve. Does this seem like a possible solution, or is this not going to work and I should just scrap the idea?
Is the leak coming from the valve itself, or where it joins the pipe? If it is the valve, it's probably just an o-ring to replace, they are usually easy to disassemble. Worst case, get the same valve and just swap the assembly while leaving the body.
Does anyone here use Swift RV Repairs? Have you had any luck contacting them lately? I've tried to get an appointment with them, but no luck. I've left an email and a voicemail and tried calling every few days, but no answer on the phone and no reply to the email. Hoping he's still in business and doing OK.

Don't know, but I hope so. He did good honest work on our tent trailer.
