What about their coffee? Do they serve any there? How good is it?

To me, a doughnut means nothing without a cup o' joe.

I have not tried this place out yet, and I love me some Glamorgan bakery cheese buns. If these doughnuts are half as good as voodoo doughnuts from Portland, Oregon they will be worth trying. If you are ever in Portland I suggest you try them.

I only had a drip coffee there (C+, nothing special). After spending $25+ on a box of doughnuts, I inexplicably cheaped out on the joe.

Fittingly, the "Non fat yogurt" episode on Seinfeld is playing right now.

It was the first thing that popped into my head when the debate materialized.

Jelly Modern just won $10,000 on Donut Showdown on Food Network. Never been there, but interested in checking it out now.

they do good work there, but it aint cheap. that being said, i could also tie into 6 or so krispy kremes......perhaps my donut palate is not that discerning.

They have a donut called Nenshi's Salted Caramel.

The Whoopie Pie looks good, only on Tuesday

Stopped by Jelly Modern today- pretty good stuff. Preferred the cake doughnuts- carrot cake and red velvet. Hadn't had a doughnut in probably over a year- think Im ok for a while now.

Friends of ours had Jelly Modern cater the desserts for thier wedding reception last weekend. I wasn't very impressed with the quality of the doughnuts / treats.

They are definitely some good donuts. Not cheap, so it's more of an occasional treat, but sure beats the stale cardboard at Tim Hortons.

Don't you mean 10 minutes and 2 1/2 weeks?

I'd like to try one because its probably a tastier doughnut and not because of the fact its "healthier". Organic or not, still probably not great for your health.

Does anyone else remember NewsRadio?

You know the episode where Phil Hartman loves those old sandwiches, and can't give them up? That's me with Tim Horton's chocolate glazed. No matter how much someone tells me how stale they are, how much they taste like cardboard.. I always go back to them. I love them so much.

I had one of the Jelly Modern Doughnuts today, I would be lying if I said that their donuts were great or memorable. Pretty lame dough with some sweet stuff on top. Not my cup of tea, at all. Service was below par.
I don't like donuts that much, but they appeared fancier than a Tim Hortons product yet more messy, expensive and not as good.
I rate Jelly Modern Doughnuts a solid 5.5/10.
