Wow, that castle/art gallery was so beautiful! And that carnival game museum seems utterly amazing, and I'd love to go see that. Gotta travel vicariously for now!
Glad my ladies are still in it!
And yeah...I'm a bad person, I snickered at spending 6.5hrs in a car to go 2 klicks...

This week, the teams travel to France. Will & James can't drive a stick; neither can Kaylynn & Haley -- who also get lost; but, in the end, Michelle & Victoria get even more lost and end up going home (or they could still be driving around Paris, 2 years later).
That castle in France was ridiculously gorgeous. DeAngelo's reaction when Gary was talking about his love for art was hilarious.

Thanks for the reminder. Don't know why my stupid pvr didn't pick up tonight's episode.
Did it record both hours that were originally scheduled last week?
Because this week's episode was the same title as what the PVR has in its history from last week, it assumes that it's a repeat of the episode you watched last week and doesn't record it (even if you have it set to record first-run and re-runs).

Yup got crappy big bang theory on the 2nd hour.
and seriously, you must be the stupidest humans in the world to drive around for 6.5 hours in a 2-3km sq area. You could have walked it 10 times.

I’m not a fan of legs where what flight you’re on decides the race. Unless I missed something it was basically 2 different races.
That wasn't really the issue this week. There was only a 15 minute difference in the scheduled arrival times, so that shouldn't be a huge factor.
The reason Riley & Maddison were able to get so far ahead was because they were ahead of Will & James leaving the airport. The other teams on the first flight were stuck behind them and couldn't make up ground.
Hung & Chee were on the second flight and they finished second. Michelle & Victoria were on the first flight and they finished last.
The bottom four teams this week were there because of their own screw-ups. Aparna took forever to do the portrait gallery task, which put them at the back of the pack. Gary & DeAngelo struggled to find the castle. Kaylynn & Haley and Michelle & Victoria both got massively lost while driving and that's why they finished so far back.

So CTV only shows one episode at 7:00, I've recorded the 8:00 hour as well.
CBS showing both 9:00 and 10:00.
So in Michelle's exit interview, they got confused because the funhouse was called Musee something something so they were looking for a a big museum. They speak french so that may have hurt them. They also went into a far away parkade and got stuck there because they had no money to pay to get out. Then they were at first embarassed to ask for directions because they smelled bad! That pie whipped cream was all over them

I was not expecting the blonds to pull ahead there. Surprise move.
Will & James are really starting to irritate me.
Gary and DeAngelo better do some fence-mending fast
Hung needs to keep her mouth closed.
This is where the alliance really sucked, 'cause I'd have loved to see what trying to figure out 'sauerkraut' would have done to the race order. Hung got it on her first go and half of them didn't even realize there were letters there! (Not that I blame them...I likely wouldn't have, either). I also have no clue how long it would have taken me to sort out sauerkraut from that mess of letters. That would have likely been a huge order-changer if hadn't only been solved by 3 of the 7 teams.
EPISODE 1: This week, the teams travel from Paris to Berlin and find a tiny disco to get in.
There was nearly a 3 hour difference between the departure times of Eswar & Aparna and Kaylynn & Haley, but the classic bunch-up eliminates the difference...Then, driving a Cold War era East German car puts them way behind again.
At the Roadblock, Hung was hung out to dry, waiting around to help out DeAngelo, only to have the football players hop in the only cab in the area. Although, Hung & Chee never should have run past the cab, thinking there was another one.
Gary & DeAngelo (Win $7,500 each)
Riley & Maddison
Hung & Chee
Will & James
Eswar & Aparna
Leo & Alana
Kaylynn & Haley (non-elimination)
Michelle & Victoria
Jerry & Frank
Kellie & LaVonne
Nathan & Cody
EPISODE 2: The teams leave Germany behind and head to Kazakhstan. Very nice.
I wonder what the Speed Bump would have been if Riley & Maddison had come in last on the last leg? They would have had a hard time putting on fake beards.
With limited legs remaining to use it, we finally see a team use a Yield and it sends Leo & Alana home (really, it was their failure on the movie studio task that killed them).
Will & James (Win trip to Las Vegas)
Riley & Maddison
Hung & Chee
Gary & DeAngelo
Kaylynn & Haley
Eswar & Aparna
Leo & Alana
Michelle & Victoria
Jerry & Frank
Kellie & LaVonne
Nathan & Cody
