For junior his numbers aren't bad. The real test will be pro this year.

Most people aren't grading strictly on NHL readiness but instead factoring in upside as well. Hathaway's upside is a 4th line grinder so many people will not rank him ahead of potential top two line forwards, top four defencemen and potential NHL goalies.
Can you really argue he's more valuable than our recent 2nd rounders? Clearly not. Is he a better prospect than them? Nope. More valuable? Nope. Higher upside? Nope.
And I really like Hathaway

Lot of potential there for sure, will probably vote for him next.

Even for the Q his numbers are pretty bad. The last time he looked good was the 13/14 U18s. His numbers in 14/15 weren't great, but at least he played 56 games. Then in 15/16 he played less games, and his numbers got worse too. His two games in the World Juniors didn't inspire any confidence either.
He has pure bust written all over him at this point. He's a goalie though, so he could be Vezina level by the time he's 30. And it's round 15 so it's not like CP overall has him super highly ranked, I just still see at least 10 guys I'd have ahead of him.

Was between Fox and Tuulola for me, went with the prospect I'm more excited about -- Tuulola in this case.

I've gotta go with E2, but it was close between Pollock and Fox, too.

I've voted Pollock. Big centre. Put up points on an abysmal Oil Kings team. I think he might be one of the biggest surprises on the farm this year.

Fox for me. Possesses excellent vision, high IQ and enough puck skills to be a quality defenseman. Needs to work on speed and a few other things, but I definitely see NHL possibilities for him if he continues to improve.

Not my exercise, but as we get into the later rounds I think we should ditch the run offs for the most part as most people aren't able to base their opinions on much more than a few mentions of the player, if anything at all.
I know I'm pretty much fully relying on other poster's interpretations of how the players are compared to each other at this point. Which is fine, as there's some great talent on this site with informed opinions.
Plus, I'm biased towards wanting to see the finished list as soon as possible.

He was a 6-round pick a month ago. He was 10th in scoring on his Finnish junior team. I am not sure how one development camp scrimmage jumps him ahead of guys the Flames picked in the second/third rounds a month ago. Not to mention guys like Pollock and McDonald.

Because some people like to judge the prospects based off what we've seen even if limited, rather than what the group think popular opinion/ drafting order is?

I'm flip-flopping between Fox, Pollock, and McDonald right now. Went Fox today, we'll see what my mood is tomorrow.

Feel free to change my vote from Dube to McDonald if it helps settle any tie.

I'm not too worried about McDonald's numbers in the Q, Roy and Brodeur had worse stats there. Let's see how he does at the next level before writing him off as a bust.
