If the Oilers manage to beat the Stars 20-0 tonight, they would still have fewer goals for, and more goals against than the Flames. Not to mention a worse record, both at home and on the road.
If they don't manage to win 20-0, well...

Brayden Point is such a great hockey player, I am still disappointed that we took Hunter Smith in that draft, we went with the guy who scored 1 point in his first draft eligible season over a guy who scored 91.

Remember we had Backlund already and had just drafted both Monahan and Bennett believing them to be the future of the franchise at C. But you have a point - this is why you go for BPA and not positional need. Always, always, BPA!
I've never made it a practice to go look at previous drafts and lamented over us picking Ultimate Bust X over Superstar Y. We got Brodie and Johnny in the 4th, pretty happy with that by itself.

Watching the Sabres/Preds game, Sabres are good. They're not that garbage franchise from last year and the last ten. They got it going on. Skinner just tied the game as I was typing this post.
