Completely unnecessary hit but I don't think that was really a hit to the head. The other angle looks like he clips the shoulder.

The least concerning of any of his suspensions imo. No contact to the head, was headed towards the puck before it was wrapped around. Is leaning away from the hit with 1 leg up to avoid contact at the point of contact.
This is one where his reputation will get him because any other player and it would be a 2 min penalty.

It wasn't a hit to the head (but it looked like it normal view from some angles), but for the rest I call BS.
Tom Wilson does not deserve to get any benefit of the doubt. There is no doubt in mind he saw Seney and meant to hit him. The little leg lift was for his innocence plea later.
He could have avoided that hit easily but because hes a POS he didn't.

Would this not be considered a blindside hit? As Nsd1 said, completely unnecessary. This guy could be such a good power forward if he'd just clean up this garbage play. Reminds me a bit of Matt Cooke there. Sheesh...

Good player but he's got the same problem in his head that Cooke and Torres had in that he's just too primal and aggressive. This wasn't a head shot but he clearly hit a player in a vulnerable situation. MacLean just said it shouldn't have been more than a 2 minute minor. Time for him to be shown the door as well as it's just enough of this idiot on telecasts.

There was nothing accidental about that hit at all. This seems like text book ‘clipping’ as far as I understand. Predatory when the size mismatch is taken into consideration. ######bag hockey etiquette and dangerous for player safety.
