In 89, we were so dominant, I used to cheer for crappy teams to win against us like Detroit and Quebec so it's not really the same..

I'd say the talent on the 89 team was still better, but this team can win any which way, something that I haven't seen since that team.

No, the Flames in 89 were more dominant, and they had been a great team for a couple years, and had been to the Cup in 86. Less than a Cup that year, especially when Edmonton was beaten, seemed almost impossible.
