With COVID and a bunch of uncertainty Id recommend getting the F1 schedule in your calendar somehow. I like the sync calendar option on the page link above.
Copied this from post #82 as a refresher on rules etc.
- Picks due FRIDAY midnight Calgary time. All picks must be submitted before qualifying and this is just an easy cut off. If your picks get posted Sunday morning at 5am...no bueno.
- Everyone gets 2 missed race weekends. After that you'll get NO ENTRIES for the rest of the missed races. The missed race picks will be the picks from the week before. If you miss 3 weekends...no bueno.
- 1 point for right pick in top 10, 4 points for correct slot, 1 extra point for correct slotted driver who gets fastest lap.
Prizes...last year almost everyone chipped in $10 and we got a trophy as well as some swag from Red Bull Ring when I was there. Happy to do it again this year, although I don't have any race plans so far... Maybe speede5 can grab some
- Most Total Points...Overall Champ...Trophy
- Most Correct Slotted Picks...first pick of prizes
- Second Most Total Points...leftovers
Heading back to Germany next week, stoked for the new compacted season. During my quarantine here I finally binged The F1 series on netflix, so well done but it made me a fan of a lot of drivers! Haha. Except Max, he rubs me the wrong way.
I'm in on the pool, should be a good season, not a lot of room for error for the top teams.

Nope, Ferrari red works, absolutely love it in almost every iteration they come up with. It's not Mercedes sticking to any colour for too long.....it's the colour itself.
Also, Flamesrule, do you happen to have a list of who paid handy? I feel like an idiot but I literally can't remember if I did or not, as it feels like Narnia when we were preparing for this season, lol.

So if you guys are looking for some easy money I'd be in to join the pool. I can honestly say I've never watched a F1 race before but the Netflix show got me hooked and I've been playing the game non-stop! Just let me know who to send money to.
And just to confirm I just pick top ten every week and theoretically if I wanted to I could make the same picks every week?

Sooo.. who's going first with picks? I have no idea this time around. Part of me is thinking Verstappen for number one, because he loves the Redbull Ring, but who knows. Would love to see him and Leclerc duking it out again.

Ferrari keep saying they were slow, not much of an upgrade package from Melbourne apparently etc. I think they're telling the truth and not sandbagging.
Hard to argue with Merc...class of the field for the last 7 years. RBR + Honda look like their really getting in sync. Can easily see Albon slotting up 1, maybe 2, spots. Crashtappen is fast but does seem like he's maturing a bit.
I really hope McLaren can push Ferrari/RBR. Renault is a wildcard. RacingPoint is a pink Merc, but way lower quality drivers. AlphaTauri has the dumbest name but made big gains last year...plus I always hope my buddys team does well!
My biggest hope is for Latifi + Williams to just be on pace with the Renault/Alfa's. Dont be lapping 1-2s behind them and 3-5s behind the Merc. Having 2 Canadians in F1 is also awesome.
