How can you sleep at night stating that take on national TV?
To add to that:
Hyman had the right of way as per the McDavid rule. He's free and clear to run into the goalie and no Edmonton defense is allowed to touch him.

It's like Smith has an ejection system built into that helmet. Mike Smith flat on his belly with his helmet 6 feet away, who doesn't shudder remembering that every game.
Only the Oilers would accept that travesty of goaltending with eager open arms.
Thank you Edmonton for helping us retain some dignity by diving deeper into the dumpster than we have, enjoy the smell forevermore.
For those that weren't watching, it's actually Jones' stick around Hyman that wacks Smith upside the head as they go by. Hyman never touches Smith at all.

Oh I didn’t catch that! I was wondering why he committed to such a dive when Hyman was a foot away from him.

From the live game crew proclaiming head hit to all the media talking about the Smith/Hyman battle last night, I'm guessing I was the only one who caught that.
I have an irrational dislike for Mike Smith. I generally don't have strong feelings for players. But his face bugs me. His hair bugs me. The way he plays bugs me. His chirping bugs me.
He's no good.

I bet it’s because he acts like a big deal but he’s terrible.

Hockey people call his generally overly serious demeanor being a fiery competitor, but it kind of makes you something else when you don't seem to have an off switch or a soft side to you. Or when you're unable to openly take accountability for anything that happens.
I don't think he's capable of cracking a joke about himself. In general I tend to steer clear of people like that.
