Pettersson scores to make it 3-0 now for the Canucks. Markstrom looks like he will get the shutout.

The Flyers are up 1-0 in the second period, Laughton with the goal. Elliott is in net for the Flyers.

Really didn't expect Philly to come out guns blazing like they have. They will make plenty of noise in the east if they depose the caps.

I am still not convinced that much can be drawn from these round-robin games. The hockey has been pretty good, but there is no way any of the top teams is playing at full tilt.

Troy Brouwer has a goal for St. Louis tonight. I swear to gawd I thought he was out of the league.

A lot of fun scoring in this game. Non stop back and forth.

I agree that they don't seem like they're playing full tilt, but still enjoyable to watch.

Vegas's offense looks just deadly. They're confident, so smooth and fluid, and their finishing is clinical.

Blues look very average through 3 games, including the pre-season game, giving up 12 goals, and scoring just 5. Will they turn it up when it matters, or is this a sign of things to come?

The flip side is Fleury gave up 4 goals on the first 13 shots;

That, and Justin Faulk has been supremely disappointing. Their D has taken a hit compared to last year.

Another nuclear meltdown on the stinkin' Leafs post game show. Their message boards are going crazy. It is the first time the BJs have come back this season from such a deficit.

Friday should be fun. 6 elimination games. The only two series that weren't scheduled to play on Friday are the 2 series that are now over.

We're also through 6 days of the return to play and we still haven't had any games delayed by an earlier game running long. The only 2 OT games so far in the Qualifying Round were the final games of the day in Toronto. There still hasn't been an OT game in Edmonton.

It feels like we're due for some OT chaos.

One advantage they have with the Carolina and Calgary series ending early is that they now have an open time slot on Saturday in each city, so if the earlier games do run long, they could bump the VAN-MIN and/or TOR-CBJ games to Saturday, which would also give those teams a day of rest after their game 3s.

Way to go Columbus! That was a comeback. Dubois clinched the hat trick with the GWG late in OT. Merzlikins taking over in net was the spark the BJs needed. Torts was right. The Leafs special teams got a PPG and a SHG.

Markstrom with the 27 save SHUTOUT, Stalock made the same amount of saves but let in 2 goals. The Wild power play was their downfall, it was 0/7.

Goals galore in the Knights-Blues game as 3 players scored 2 goals each. The Knights out shot the Blues 38-17. Binnington was busy and kept the score respectable.

Laughton and Hayes each 3 points in the Flyers win.
