Columbus, you had one job and you blew it. Merzlikins played his guts out making 49 saves in the loss. Matthews with 3 points. Ugh.

Not a huge surprise seeing the Habs defeat the Penguins due to great goaltending by Price. We saw this 10 years ago with Halak doing the same thing to the Penguins, Crosby knows all about it.

Kind of surprised the Canucks won this series. What was the Wild coach thinking with the players he had on the ice to start the OT? The winning goal at 11 seconds ties a Canucks record for the fastest OT winner.

Crawford was the MVP for the Bhawks in this game. The last 2 periods the Oilers out shot Chicago 35-17! The PP for the Oilers was dreadful at 0/5. Toews with 2 assists. Thanks Chicago.

The Coyotes with the OT win to move on. Good for coach Tocchet. Kuemper was a stud in net for the Coyotes as he made 49 saves. The Predators gave it their all in this game. Exciting last minute with Forsberg's tying goal.

Strong PK by the Islanders kicks the Panthers out. The Isles were too strong and had the better goaltending.
