I actually think it kind of messes up the tentacle in the S, but I'm sure someone nutty enough to get this tattooed on them doesn't sweat the little things like that.

Looking at both the home and away versions with green highlights and red eye, I think this looks a lot better than what they chose. If this had been what they went with, I would have some legit jersey envy.

Yeah, that's a mess. Both the tentacle and eye are screwed up without the thick blue edge. It also obscures the Space Needle shape in the anchor.

Even as a fan of tattoos I’ve never quite been able to wrap my head around the speed at which some will jump to permanently apply shiny new pop-culture elements to their skin.
The design is cool enough, but the quality of the application shows just how much of a rush they were in to get the pic for the internet.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
Seattle CHOPers has a nice ring and they could've built in some lumberjack elements (ties to region's history) and burning barrels (ties to region's present).
