Pretty good period given its their first game. Wolf, Lucic, Ritchie, Rooney, Phillips, Zadorov, Meloche, McLain and Petterssen looked good, I thought. Was hoping to see more from Pelletier and Valimaki.

Tough roster for him to try to make IMO. Has a better chance elsewhere, I think.

I thought Pettersen had a lot of noticeably good plays so far.

How hard would it have been to schedule the games to not overlap?

RW is Calgary's weakest position. If he can't crack this lineup, he isn't an NHLer.

Now a Habs jersey spotted - no shame. At least it’s red.

Nice job on that Flames TV intro - I only noticed Johnny once in the highlight package and it was in the bottom corner of the window. Can't imagine putting that together being easy!

Flames misspell Weegar on the starting lineup graphic.

"Weager".

Judging from the starting lineup Mackey gets to start with Weegar that's interesting, that puts him in a spot to succeed.

Shocked that this isn't blocked in Winnipeg. In years past, it was an Alberta only thing.
