I think the Canucks get to play tired teams 3 times this year and the Oilers play 18 teams on back to backs. I just don’t understand how that’s allowed but whatever

18 times and only have to play tired against rested teams 8 times. It’s absolutely hysterical.

Vancouver is the 3rd team in their last 6 games that Edmonton is facing, who is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights (and back to back). And the Oilers were rested on each occasion.

I am glad that I am watching the game on the Pacific channel. No Principe and Alex Auld is on the television instead of his normal radio slot for this game. It is ridiculous that the game is not part of the Home town double header. Pathetic decision making on one of Sportsnet's signature nights.

Based on the game I watched, the number of quality chances by each team. TB had the edge in play. I never said it was one sided or anything. But they had more extended offensive zone shifts. Winnipeg had some too, but not as many. Even in the OT, TB owned it for the first few minutes.

For the record, I will not be attending a Paul McCartney impersonator at some casino near Edmonton. The "Vegas showgirls" are not a good incentive, as I am doubtful they are Vegas showgirls, since it's Edmonton. And "confetti" is not a deal closer.

Feels like the OOT has these teams picking up points every night.

The same can be said for NSH, WPG, and COL.

Quinn is an absolute embarrassment when he calls goals for the opposition.

Oilers down a goal, McDavid tries to stick-handle through the entire Canucks team, turns the puck over, Horvat almost scores at the other end.

Hitch looks scared. Going by his recent and long term coaching career, if his goalie isn't invincible there's pretty much nothing left in his playbook.

Yup, it’s a disgrace truthfully. God forbid you end up with Remenda doing colour on top of that and oh boy...
