I don't know if Kuzmenko is going to be able to be the puck carrier on the PP entry, because he's pretty slow out there.
I have watched a lot of Kuzmenko, and I found that his skating speed was above average when skating towards the opposition net, and below average when skating towards his own net…
He has the ability to keep separation when skating on a breakaway, so I wouldn’t be too concerned about his skating.

Not concerned about his skating. As I said, I think that he has great edges, and it makes him look quicker out there. He managed to get a couple of breakaways last year as well, he didn't look slow then.
That said, I don't see him as a speedster either. I just don't see him as the main option for PP entry.

Not sure skating speed is an issue on powerplay entrances - the defenders are all back anyway. It's more about hole - picking and making the pass to the open guy crossing the blue line, who can control and set up.

if he can bury tap ins from Huberdeau he will be okay, others have had issues with that

that's all fine except the new first line will have no defensive ability. They'll all be slow getting back to our zone.
Sharangovich has been right there at the top of the 200ft play all year. He's one of the better PK players.
Said it before but losing the Lindholm that we traded this year doesn't really do much damage,
There's a lot of fretting of how much worse things will be without Lindy. And as far as I can tell, we're only gonna be hurt in the faceoff dot. I love Lindholm. But he just wasn't anywhere near what he had been for us during his tenure. This year he wasn't even half the player he's been.
Let's see what happens when the deadline picture is complete. Besides, a catastrophic crash through the standing this year is the best of both worlds.

Man this guy could give Pelletier's cheer a run for his money. Will this be the happiest team in the NHL?
Holy ####, a player with a different personality from the 97% in hockey.
Majority of players have the same surface lexicon and mannerisms.. makes interviews hard to sit through when its practically the same interview regardless of the player.
Rare for players today to be expressive and animated.. or "loose" you could say.
For the life of me, I still cannot understand these PP deployments.
Kadri and Zary have chemistry.
Huberdeau and Backlund have chemistry.
Why is Zary with Backlund and Huberdeau with Kadri. All season long they've done this, except for a couple games (in typical, let's try something new... oh wait that's not working after 2 games, back to the old way that hasn't worked in 40 games).

Yup they should move Backlund up and Kadri with Zary.
