It's all about ratings. As long as people watch, the networks will continue to broadcast and to sensationalise their product. Don't like it? Stop watching.

Yeah I'm sure their ratings were soaring today. You could even tell the panel didn't want to be there, with their comments at the end.

Additionally, I'd rather give Bingo hits rather than tsn, so I spent my day, like many, in here. Thanks though

I don't get it. You're complaining about a show you didn't even watch?

And I wouldn't count on much of a dip in the ratings. It is one of the biggest days of the year on the hockey calendar, and this is a hockey mad country.

The show was lousy because there no one was moving players. Every TD is a little different, and there are sure to be more interesting ones in the future, which will produce better shows.

It's just such a silly thing to whine about, and people who whine bother me.

I think the overhyping of deadline day is silly. Clearly today was a prime example as to why.

I saw commercials and hype about deadline day for the last two months or more. I turned the tv on for the game, and the comments from the panel seemed like they were sick of it. Paraphrasing "being here for 10 hours was kind of a joke, we'll see what we do next year".

I understand you don't like whiners, all good as I wasn't whining. I was laughing at the overhype and result.
