So I see the Oilers get a tired team that played a late game in Vancouver last night. Notice also that Commissar Lowe must have had a chat with the shot counters in the Sweatpantry again. Showing the shots as 22 to 4 for the Grease after the first, they did have the only 2 powerplays of the first though so that may have contributed to the inflated shot count.

Leafs suck and have become unwatchable the past month.

I need to change my avatar back to Leafs Pain.

How can a team with so much offensive talent continually just ice the puck and dump and chase. I know Babcock wants them to play defensive hockey but this is just boring trash.

No he is with Kadri and Komarov. Leafs have 4 4th lines right now so doesn't really matter.

And I have no idea how Nylander gets such a short leash but Marner looks way worse and doesn't seem to get the same crap.

Babcock has basically taken the confidence out of this team. Before they were flying. Offensively gifted and great vision. Now the whole team is afraid to make a mistake. Nylander looked great all year until he was parked on the 4th for way too long. Since then you can tell he is overthinking it.

I hope Babcock has some grand master plan because right now this is ugly.

At least the Oilers suck. Us Leaf fans had realistic expectations for the season. Make the playoffs and maybe steal a round. I am more upset because I hate watching boring hockey.

Oiler fans thought they were cup contenders which is just hilarious. Now they are trash. And always were trash.

I was there. Shot clock was accurate. It was legit. Many low percentage shots in the first.

Oilers carried possession but were never a threat. Corsi busting performance.
