Is it confirmed or not confirmed that the Flu is now over? That' seems an important deal as it could indicate their return to eminent greatness. Or does the Flu continue as long as the Oilers continue their almost league leading performance.

Confirmed.... Unless he doesn't look like the saviour on ice next game. If that is the case then the flu is back on.

I can already see it....
Connor will get a hatrick in a game and Remenda will report that "He's feeling better!! The rest of the NHL better beware!"

You would think that this would be an ad campaign for rexall to get your flu shot.

Nobody can deny Spector has been much more entertaining this season than the team he covers.

My boss is based out in Edmonton and a die-hard Oilers fan. I should tell him that I need the next 2 months off for paid sick leave because I have the flu....And he probably will believe me!!

Damnit, you'll work anyways, what would Connor McDavid do.

What would Connor McDavid do
If he was here right now,
He'd make a plan
And he'd follow through,
That's what Connor McDavid'd do.

When Connor McDavid was on the ice,
Skating for agoal,
He did two Crossovers and then two more

While puking from the Flu.

When Connor McDavid was in Sears,
trying on sweat pants,
He used his magical fire breath,
And saved the maidens fair.

So what would Connor McDavid do
If he were here today,
I'm sure he'd kick an arse or two,
That's what Connor McDavid'd do.

I found the very moment he first felt this Generational flu coming on.

This must be the same bug Troy Brouwer has been battling for the last two years.

Boy flu - meh, you know the Oilers would come around to make the playoffs anyway.

Wow, i guess he's recovered now!!!

Back to "Cup Finals or Bust" expectations should now be back! They have to win 10 in a row now, anything less, and they have failed.

Let's get that pressure to mount again.

I love that logic.

"The Oilers dont suck, McDavid is just SICK!"

Okay then. I assume he recovered from the Flu in Columbus but will tragically contract it again shortly.

Perhaps he needs to be encased in some sort of bubble...like some sort of...Bubble Boy.

Curtis Lazar can be reclaimed, he had mono, being sick clearly impacted his play!

Mcdavid had the flu, no way being sick impacted his play!
