Still have too many forwards. I'd package Namestnikov and maybe Janmark or Baertschi or Ferland for an upgrade on the wing.

Joe Pavelski. Wouldn't mind getting 2 lower rated guy in return. Lower rated but still 3rd line type players.

Updated Trade Block as the good Captain is still working on his cap concept

Ryan Suter D - 9.99 1 year - decent defensively with a rating of 80 and an overall of 73, is extremely durable and could be a good fit as a bottom 3 defenseman who can step up into a top 3 role when needed. He's a depth everyman

Ryan McDonagh D - 9.50 2 year - defensively elite with a rating of 94 and an overall rating of 76 still has decent skating and puck handling skills.

Alexander Radulov RW - 8 mil 1 year - an overall of 75 with a 79 skating and 80 puckhandling and 82 scoring he could be a great add on to a contender as a guy that can score goals from a second or third line position and slide up the lineup based on needs.

So what am I looking for, a bit of the bubbly, oh wait. I'm looking at some cap relief for these veterans as well as either a combination of draft picks and prospects. But I also have some holes to fill at center, with needs in terms of a second or 4th line center. bottom 6 Right Wing and left wing.

I don't mean for this to sound condescending but do you know how positions work in the CPHL? Just because their position is listed as LW, RW, C on your roster page doesn't mean anything. Players can play multiple positions if you have an approved link showing they play that position.

This was the part In was most confused by re-joining.

Not sure if it's worthwhile having a sticky of how it works? It might also be there already actually haha. I should check

Looking to trade Bonino or Eller for a similar defenceman or goalie.

So basically ignore the position they are listed as on your roster page.

What is in the sim is the source of truth.

When the time comes, Jiri will ask to provide links for positions.
Example:
Elias Lindholm
Add C: https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/...php?pid=152765
Add RW: https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl...elias-lindholm

Lindholm will now show as C and RW in the sim and can play both those positions.
You can see the current position structure on this link: http://cphlsim.com/rosters/

As you can see, multiple people have an X under the position column. Some have only 1 X, some have multiple.
