Slightly off topic, but man, that Swedish blueline is stacked with young, dynamic defensemen!

Flames come out absolutely flying. Play the first 2 minutes in the offensive zone and are buzzing.

The eventual first Dallas shot is a goal. Deflates the Flames. Blowout ensues.

4-2 Dallas seems pretty generous.

Smells like 8-0 Dallas. But we are at home and maybe Ferland and granlund will have some confidence so I'll say 6-2 for Dallas. Goals by ferland and granlund.

A win would be nice, but if this cannot be attained, I ask only that the Flames don't embarrass themselves... or their fans.

Nah, no melt downs. It's been a bit since I thought we could salvage this Hindenberg season.

Hopefully something cool happens. Maybe Calgary doesn't have enough players so Dallas lends us Benn or something.

Calgary surprises all the negative people and wins a convincing 4-1 game. Seguin and Benn get 0 pts and everyone who plays fantasy sports weeps.

With our luck this year this would actually happen, but it would end up being Jordie Benn.

Dallas scores 3.46 goals per game.

Calgary gives up 3.54 goals per game.

Combined results in exactly 7 goals.

Dallas wins 7-2. I'm fairly certain this will happen.

OK. Next time I'll check his Twitter feed before making a joke about the Flames playoff chances being dead. Especially before posting it on a site he never reads.

That is some odd, but weirdly satisfying logic.

I know his cousins read this site and are active on other hockey message boards and they lost a loved one too. But whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

Condolences for Jooris. Losing family never easy...

As to the game tonight, I think this is a perfect storm for Dallas to go bonkers with goal scoring.Run us right out of our own ban 7-1. The fan in me hopes Flames show up and play like they did against the Penguins and feed the stars there butts. with a 6-2 win. All depends which Flames team shows up. Last years or the current team.

Wow.

I read this wrong. I thought the Flames were already down 2-0 and the game hadn't even started yet.

Kinda feels like that could happen this season.

I don't think he meant that comment to be taken seriously.

I hope the flames play hard tonight. I'm gonna go against popular opinion and predict a 4-3 Flames win!

I will be in attendance at the game tonight.

I don't really care what the score is as long as its a high scoring affair with Sharp and Klingberg in on every Stars goal.

Ok I like to post gifs etc for luck so I figured I would try a new type of gif. A crossover, cause luck has not been with us thus far this season. SO with that I present to you, the true message Old Ben received from R2.

Haha same here. I'm hoping if the Stars are scoring that both these guys have a lot to do with it. Fantasy makes some losses easier to cope with.
