Kipper is in.
I think Finland will show up. They let Sweden neutralize them, but it was a meaningless game, so I expect much more of them tonight.
The coach has had trouble getting everyone playing the system, which is different from how NHL teams play. Sort of funny considering the usual cliches about Finnish team play and work ethic. Perhaps relatedly, Olli will be centering the fourth line - I really think the coach just doesn't know what type of player Jokinen is, and also he is absolutely in love with Niko Kapanen. Kapanen-Hagman might work pretty well.
On paper Finland would finish every tournament in the 6-8 place, so they need to have the team concept working to go anywhere. They can, however, beat the Czechs even if everything doesn't quite click yet.

Holy crap, the Swiss are pouring it on! Miller with a flurry of great saves as the Americans repeatedly cough it up right in the slot.

Exciting start to this game, but how many times can these two teams turn the puck over in the defensive zone? Holy. The Swiss in particular seem almost blind when they try and clear it.
Also, the rule where you have to immediately leave the ice when you lose your helmet is the stupidest rule I've ever seen. You can't even pick it back up.

Wow, what an exciting start! The Swiss actually look really, really good in the American end. If Hiller stands on his head and they get the first goal, they could pull this one out.

If this keeps up, the Americans are going to get pretty frustrated I think.

I think Luca Sbisa broke his hand (my opinion). The poor kid can't catch a break if my opinion is true.

It's been all US for the past 10 minutes. Haven't been able to beat Hiller though.

Only a matter of time until Kesler cheap shots a Swiss player.

The Swiss started great, but then really started to turn the puck over so many times. They also started to bail out on hits, like that Swiss player did on the Parise chance.
They need to quit turning the puck over repeatedly and play tough on the body; no bailing on hits. If they don't, there's no way they win.
