considering they have only played him 2 games this season its better than not playing for him I guess...still what a terrible decision and most of us knew it.
For some reason Stephene Yelle being a C/D was always cemented in my head growing up. First guy I can ever think of that I thought that way
Sandbox could do it all. Honestly he was so good . He didnt get thr recognition he ever deserved.
He had 2 Stanley cup rings as well and i bet most didn't know that.

One of my all time favourites for sure. I remember the Flames being down by a few goals with like a minute left, and he jumped in front of a slapshot like the Stanley Cup was on the line. He was completely fearless.

He looks absolutely lost; under four minutes of ice time and a -2. Both goals are scored by guys right besides him, the Guentzel goal being especially ugly.

probably the same goals as above, but the NHL link doesn't work for me.
Kylington would fit right in on the Flames blueline the way they are playing these last two

The Wings would regularly use Mathieu Dandenault at forward a lot but he was drafted as a forward and converted to D as a prospect.
Also way back in the day they would occasionally go the other way and let Federov play D. That was always a good show.

Honestly his peak was #6 defenseman on a team that featured Gudbranson. He had just broken into the league full time and had to walk away for a season and a half. It's a huge uphill battle for anyone to come back after missing that time. I would hope he can find his game but not everyone can be one of the 192 best defensemen in the world. No shame in falling short, and he should be proud of what he has accomplished so far.
Barrie can go back to Colorado where his career started, and Kylington can come back here.
I think a line has been crossed.
It would take some extenuating circumstances for the Flames to welcome him back.
I think Kylington coming back is a less than 1% chance of happening and I think what/how he’s being utilized right now is a sign of what his remaining NHL career will look like. 6-8 depth D, likely age out sooner rather than later.

Conny is the woman scorned. He won't pick him up even for free.
Yup. This.
And I don't care either way.
The Flames are going to suck for quite some time and Kylington isn't going to move the needle on that so...now he's on his own and can do whatever he likes, but I sincerely doubt there will ever come a time when the Flames welcome him back.
