Both could be claimed.

I've always liked Wahlstrom but really his production hasn't been great at any level and we have too many wingers already.

Could use some natural RH shots though.

Edit: Looking and his underlying numbers the past two seasons are pretty atrocious, so I'd guess teams stay away.

Bill Engvall? I didn't know he'd taken up hockey.

Engvall cleared waivers before the season. 3 million isn't terrible, but it goes until 2030. Wahlstrom's cleared waivers before too, I believe. His contract has this year left and can be buried. 6 points in 32 games last year, 4 points in 27 games this year.

Bad pick for the Isles (Wahlstrom). Good thing they got Dobson literally one pick after.

Wow, I would give Wahlstrom a try. If there’s a player in the league who needs a change of scenery, it’s him.

I would try Wahlstrom too. Waive Kuzmenko doubt anybody will claim him at that salary but he adds nothing to Flames now

The book on Wahlstrom has always been flakey. I suppose he could find a way a la that Dutch kid who has worked his way to an NHL career. Name escapes me at the moment.

But another deadly RHS shot on the right side could be interesting on the Flames.
