The positive of elevated is that they can stay elevated across the river, leaving less of a mess where the portal was supposed to be, and a less steep climb. This all makes it less likely they'll make the mistake of putting it down the centre st bridge.

Not really worth worrying about. We'll be long dead before this gets extended north.

This is about what I expected. And I think that the city will begrudgingly accept it and hopefully the province will assume the risk and overruns as part of their victory lap.

Elevated is not ideal, but... at least it isn't at grade. I totally could've seen them trying to do it at grade.

apparently, the 2nd street elevated alignment could go over the plus 15/plus 30 connectors.

I've never understood the fascination with living forever. Life sucks. Then you die. Thats all.

Personally I think we should be redirecting our efforts into developing speeder-bikes from Star Wars.

What are we, Neanderthals? 'Wheels' are so over-rated! Get the flying bikes going and then bikes can be cool because you wouldnt have cyclists! Its the perfect harmony!

Can't we exterminate all bicycle riders?

We could all get handguns and just shoot them in the back as we drove past

To be honest, I was expecting a lot worse from the province. They still seriously overstepped here, but getting the project going, and into the heart of downtown is critical.

Sacrificing the best option downtown for a couple extra stations in the short term is definitely shortsighted.

I'm curious to know how a consultant spent $2.5 million in just a few months. That's either a ridiculously large team working hard overtime, or they made a very nice profit on this exercise. That's also a surprisingly large sole source or scope change. Usually something of that magnitude would need to go out for an RFP.

Based on what we know about the UCP and their relationship with ethics, I can assure you that everything was above board. Now get outta here with your questions.

First of all Eau Claire was a failed mall more or less to begin with.

You should see all of the Utility movement in Ogden for something that doesnt seem like its gonna happen.

Calgary Transit is not exactly covering itself in glory here.
