Our company sent out Oculus sets to select people to test various internal portals being developed for remote applications. Received mine today. Any suggestions for a noob when it comes to VR? I'm a bit concerned about getting motion sickness so we'll see. I get sick watching movies like Cloverfield (couldn't watch for more than 5 minutes), so I'm hoping it's not that bad...

Start off with stuff that doesn't cause you to forget you're in VR? Like short concerts and short video clips to build up a tolerance? You'd also choose these so you can choose when you want to start looking around vs being forced to look around and getting the spins.
Motion sickness wise, ginger gravol should work fine. Or get some hot ginger type drinks to help ease you in?
Off topic, I've been super intrigued by wearable subwoofers that are like early gen haptic suits. BHaptics and Woojer are the ones I've been loosely following for a few years now, but I could never justify the costs. Mainly I'd be interested in them for gaming and possibly movies vs some of the advertised usage for music which is hit or miss depending on genre. Does anyone else have experience with these subwoofer vests?
Side note, I hear that pairing up these wearable subwoofers really add to the immersion level of VR.

^ start with just 5 minutes and take break. Work your way up to longer.
My wife gets motion sick and can handle about 15 minutes at a time.
Having a fan blow on you can help as well.
This is good advice as well. I've noticed that I can get quite warm with VR.
Adding to your post, a nice ice cold drink to stay hydrated and cool is helpful as well. I find I get thirsty quite easily when playing with VR headsets for an extended period of time. I think it's warmer and you sweat more when in VR.
Is the Oculus 2 Elite strap something someone should be looking at getting? I'm just deciding whether to go with the $70 in store credit which I would use towards the strap and battery pack or the $63.50 CAD or whatever it is game credit if bought through Oculus' site.
Has anyone tried Viveport Infinity? Is it worth it being locked in for a year at about $10 a month but getting Gorn, Cooking Simulator, and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners free to keep if you have a Quest 2?
What's the accepted minimum age on devices like this? When I check online there's kind of a broad range of everywhere from 7 to 13. My son really wants to try it out but he's too young at the moment (6) but I'm wondering what a good age to wait for is? Play it safe and wait til 12?
Just got my Oculus and I'm loving it so far. What are everyone's must have games and what's the best way to go about it so I'm not spending an arm and a leg purchasing all the games?

Resident Evil 4 if you like those type of games. It's an Oculus exclusive.
You'll probably end up getting a 25% off coupon soon like I did after I activated mine but until the 13th they have a 30% promo using OCULUS30. It's a one time use coupon though. Right now I'm leaning towards using it on Jurassic World: Aftermath and using part of the $35 credit I got for referring my niece's boyfriend.
I use a niche app called SenseArena, it's VR training both for players and goalies. I use the for goalies module and it's awesome! Super-expensive though.
I ike the National Geographic app (IIRC, it's free), you get to do some experiences like climbing ice in Antarcta.
I also enjoy Epic Roller Coasters. the game has two modes: 1 where you just ride the different coasters and a shooter mode.
