Awkward and creepy from start to finish.

The entire bouch bomb thing has been forced since DeBrusk let it escape his mouth. I think EB himself doesn't agree with it.

He's good at getting shots through but it's hardly a cannon.

Don't worry Henrique, I'd cry if I had to move to Edmonton too.

I may have heard somewhere that a penalty shot can be awarded for a penalty that takes away a scoring chance in the dying seconds like that.

Heck, the flames have more hockey sense and could take them on 7 imo if they didnt have the wonder twins, hyman, nugent hopkins, and bouchard
So you are saying the flames could beat them if you take away their top 4 forwards, two of whom are some of the best in the league and their top d? You don’t say. Bold prediction.

Why is Bouchard even following McKinnon into the corner there at the end? He knows there isn't much time left, given the effort he puts into checking him, but inexplicably, skates below him,and the goal line as well, as if McKinnon is going to go behind the net?

Regardless, if he stops up at the bottom of the circle and lets McKinnon fiddle with it in the corner, the pass doesn't get though to the front of the net, no matter how lazy the back check was from Dr Drai.

Good on the Capitals for beating the Canucks. Can't blame DeSmith, the Canucks didn't get much offense going. Ovechkin with the GWG in the 2nd period after Wilson tied the game just under 2 minutes earlier. Oshie played his 1000th career game and the Capitals are now in 9th place in the eastern conf. just one point back of the Red Wings.

The Predators seem like they won't lose again, they beat the Kraken 4-1. Josi had 2 goals including the GWG early in the 3rd period. The Predators are now 12-0-2 since their last regulation loss!

The Blues are just 4 points back of the 8th place Knights as they beat the Wild in the SO. It is a 3 way tie for 1st place in the western conf. The Stars crushed the Kings 4-1 along with the Avs winning and the Canucks losing.

As most of you know, the screaming and smarminess of HNIC during Oilers broadcasts prevents me from watching. However, I just read this thread and offer my sincerest thanks for the detailed description of Oilers No-Good.

The wonder twins were a combined minus 5 against Colorado last night. Drai was -3 and McDivey was -2.

It's always a good season when neither of the golden twins will win the scoring race. It's their badge of honour and most prized possession. Without it they have nothing to show for the year because the team isn't winning anything.

The Avs definitely have them figured out, which bodes well if they end up facing each other in the playoffs. If you can limit the wonder twins or hold them to zero points like Colorado did last night, it'll be a short series.

Edmonton = No Good.

I was laughing into my coffee this morning.

Hockey Night in Canada hyping this game as a sure fired guaranteed Western Conference Preview. Chances are that Vancouver, Winnipeg, Colorado and Dallas would all commit unspeakable acts of horror on the Oilyaz.

Then they hyped this as McDavid vs McKinnon, a veritable battle of the titans so to speak.

McDavid - 0 goals 0 assists minus 2.
Draisaitly - 0 goals 0 assists minus 3
McKinnon - 0 goals zero asssists and a plus 1

I thought MacKinnon set up the winning goal. No assist for that?

I feel like the Canucks will slip to 2nd in the West, get the Preds in round 1 and get smoked.
Nashville is heating up at the right time.
