And security guards trailed us to a record shop
We asked for Mojo Nixon
They said, "He don't work here"
We said, "If you don't got Mojo Nixon then your store could use some fixin'"

There aren’t many songs whose lyrics I know from start to finish but that’s one of them. Such a fun band.

I just found out that a documentary about Mojo Nixon came out last year called The Mojo Manifesto. It’s available on VOD so I’ll likely check it out.

Sometimes I walk around around the house singing She's Vibrator Dependent. Don't even really know I'm doing it. That song is burned into my brain from my mispent youth.

I dont pretend to know much about him or his discography, but he seemed like a guy with a good sense of humour which goes a long way with me.

I started to get into country in the late 90's which was when Toby started to gain a lot of traction with some big hits. His big hit with "How do You Like Me Now" probably really set the course for his music and his albums Unleashed and Shock'n Y'all were so much fun. I listened to those way too much on my commute to University and would be singing in the car everytime.
A couple of my favorites were:

Toby had so many hits, some of my favorites that have been on rotation since his passing:

Should have been a Cowboy
Who's that Man (heartbreaking song)
Whiskey Girl
What happens in Mexico
He Ain't Worth Missing
Beer for my Horses
I love this Bar
As Good as I once was

Such a great and varied discography, he could belt out an emotional heartbreaking song , or a party anthem for when you are out with the boys or he could also sing about putting a boot up the talibans ass.

The official Hanson Brothers account conveyed heartfelt condolences today for the family and friends of Paul D'Amato, who passed away yesterday at the age of 74.

Terrible loss. I think I remember hearing about him getting ALS. He was a main character in Jericho, which was a great show, and he guest-starred in a ton of stuff.

He's looked pretty sickly in the last few seasons of Curb.
