Yup that looks really fun, channeling some GoTG there. The trailer gave away the perfect amount, Who's she? Oh Asgard.. is it really gone though? What's Loki doing? Was that Idris Elba? Hulk!!! And all of that to great background music.

I'm sufficiently pumped for Thor 3 now. That trailer was perfect

That actually looks really good.
A nice lighter tone to it.

ALL ABOARD!
Near perfect trailer. Now don't release another one and let the hype build.

The thing is, it can be incredibly hard to take certain characters and knock them down.
Thor is a good example, hes effectively a God, how do you hurt/kill him?
But they manage to do it in a believable manner.

Wasn't a fan of the retro lettering. Seemed out of place.
Everything else is awesome. The Immigrant Song is a perfect theme for Thor.
I love how his reaction to seeing the Hulk is basically the same as the viewer. "F Yeah!"

It's Hela, the Asgardian god of death.

Couldnt agree more. That looks really, really good.
They more or less explain why Thor no longer has Mjolnir which is what everyone was wondering, but it looks serious but fun.
Plus they make it believable that Thor would be fighting in some thunderdome.
I've actually watched it a few times now and it just seems to get better. Immigrant Song nailed it. It just feels right.
And you can never go wrong with Jeff Goldblum. You cant go wrong with Jeff Goldblum. That man is a treasure.

This has a serious Gladiator vibe to it.. but they already killed off Djimon Honsou in this universe!!

That does look like it could be pretty good. I really thought Thor 2 was running in a good direction from Thor 1 by focusing more on Asgard and less on that bizarre love story.
My only complaint is that they're using that increasingly cheezy and distracting amber and teal colour scheme. I think this style of movie could look really good in an opened up range of colours. When HD first came out, there were a bunch of movies like Speed Racer that used a really bright colour scheme. The Thor universe could really benefit from that.

I'm guessing she's not related to the Lady Death that Thanos courted right?

No.
The Asgardian gods are appointed by Odin. Their all born at some point and can die. Hela would be similar to Thor. Thor was appointed god of thunder.
Lady Death is more of an eternal cosmic being that exists outside of the mortal realm.

Too bad, it would have been a nice link to the first Avengers movie.
Where his underling says that to fight humans is to court death, and Thanos smiles.

Giving away the Hulk reveal, and Thor's reaction, is everything I hate about modern trailers. You just know that was a moment the movie built tension for.
