Default Does Chrome look muted to you?

Restarted Chrome a bit ago and suddenly everything looks muted, all the colours are less vivid than before.

It's not my monitor, my background looks fine. If I load up sites in Firefox, they look fine. It's just Chrome.

I can even take screenshots and measure the different colours in a paint program.

Forums look more washed out. Left is Chrome, right is Firefox

Heck, even Google's logo looks different (top is Chrome, bottom is Firefox)

Anyone else see this? I can't figure out what's going on.

Looks like Chrome 61 enabled following the colour profile for the monitor.

https://productforums.google.com/for...e=forum/chrome

Unfortunately Windows doesn't have a colour profile for my monitor. I'll have to see if I can find one on Dell's site.

There's a flag to disable it: chrome://flags/#enable-color-correct-rendering

Now it's back to normal, man I thought I was going crazy there for a little bit. "Am I having a stroke, everything looks so wrong"

This started again for me with the most recent update to Chrome.

This time I fixed it by choosing the sRGB color profile from the Force Color Profile from this chrome://flags/#force-color-profile

I used the color profile flags to test HDR versus non-HDR playback in Chrome and Edge. Neat trick.
