Since you're a lowly PS4 user and can't digitally gift games, just pm your address and I'll have Amazon drop it off. Yes, I am that lazy. But also leaving the Calgary area for a few weeks on Monday

Everyone else, based on this thread I still urge you to go out and buy the game, I know I'll be giving it another chance in the near future as well

In the interest of transparency, here's a recording of me doing the draw. Very simple, assigned each of you a number, and used a random number generator

But couldn't you have recorded multiple takes until you drew IronMiadens name? This sounds like an inside job.

Congrats! Once you get past the initial learning curve of the combat and controls enjoy what I consider the greatest video game of all time.

I am psyched! I love high fantasy and RPGs, my friends have been telling me for years to play it. I honestly have no idea why it's taken be so long.

Haha, well I suppose. However, if I were to rig it I would definitely do it in favour of a PC player so I could be lazy and just gift the game through steam. Also would just not bother with a recording and just name someone

Just played Skyrim for the first time this weekend. It's a great game if you enjoy carrying a million useless objects, taking forever to search through places to get said useless objects, walking vast distances for five minutes straight without anything happening and being slaughtered in three on one fights.

Be sure to share your thoughts TheIronMaiden! I want to play the game soon too after giving up early last time I tried it, so I'm curious what others that are new to it think

Just started diving into the meat of the game. A friend of mine suggested that it should be enjoyed like a T.V show and so far that has been a good for me. The world is very alive so I might as well enjoy the sights and sounds of any town I am in. It also divides up like a T.V show side quests take 20 min main quests take 1 hour and I try and chop it up like that so that I don't end up sloggin through a quest when what I really want it something short and sweet.

That said, I love deep lore, and this game has buckets of it. So maybe I enjoy it like a book. Hard to say, all I know is that it does not have the instant gratification you might expect from a video game, it is all about the slow burn, and the big pay off in the end.

I can see how someone could get overwhelmed though, lots to learn in the menue interface. I read an article online about what's important to know, and i'll just stick with that for now.

The most important thing to remember is that no matter how important the quest you’re on seems, there is always time for some Gwent.

Ha! It is not that! It's the game of a million instances of 3 different quests, with no payoff in the end.

And it gets cartoonishly easily quickly.

Might not be the right thread for this, but if anyone wants to play GTA V let me know. I'm one of those that has everything in the game thanks to glitches so I have ALL the toys lol

Xbox, same screen name.

Or if anyone needs a World of Chel team we have space there too.

About 3/4 done with this Witcher 3 business. Outside of being the most glitchiest bug crashingest make sure you save often this quest is brokenest game I’ve ever played it’s pretty good. Fun.

Well I finished Trials of Mana on the switch (old SNES RPG) after almost 40 hours and I found a great deal on a used copy of witcher 3. The lady and I are probably gonna start it tonight!
