Livewire has a nice visualization of the community breakdown for the mayor voting: https://livewirecalgary.com/2021/10/...-mayoral-race/
Farkas had his strongest support in East Calgary. This was also the part of the city with the lowest vaccine uptake. I don't know if the two are related.
Farkas only finished ahead in 3 of the neighbourhoods in his old ward (Cedarbrae, Willow Park, and Elbow Park - which is now in Ward 8, but was previously in 11). His lead in those neighbourhoods was pretty narrow and Gondek beat him by a much wider margin in the neighbourhoods she won in Ward 11. For example, he won Cedarbrae by 1%, but across 24th St, she won Braeside by 6.4%.
So much for the narrative that he was beloved in his ward because he held town hall meetings and responded to people's complaints.

you don't know what you are missing out with bubble tea.
Maybe we can convince Chu to get the eff out of city hall by giving him a Gong Cha franchise.

Man, Jeromy with a clean sweep of the Care Facilities.
If being beloved by infirm seniors isn't a path to victory, what are we even doing here?
Democracy doesn't work!

Interesting.
Looking at the voting stations by mayoral candidate, even in the voting stations he won, Jeromy only broke 40% in 4 of them. So even where he won, he wasn't the prefered candidate of a majority of the candidates.
Jyoti on the other hand, certainly won quite a few with less than a majority, but it's pretty easy to find stations in the high 40's, 50's and 60's.

I'm pretty sure they assume you want it cold but not watered down.

So isn't the take away not that "almost nothing the consumer does makes much difference" but "the consumer can make a real difference in what they buy rather than what they do with the packaging after purchase"?
