well it's pretty clear that he doesn't care about United "getting something for him" at this point, he just wants to move and he doesn't care about burning bridges. He spoke publicly about leaving and that didn't faze United (rightfully so). Now his agent tries to do the same thing and I imagine it won't work either. This is all about getting United to lower their price and I hope they stand their ground.

A lot of fans think the sky is falling, but I'm actually looking forward to the new season. At least it's going to be a young and hungry team with a chip on its shoulder ... and honestly, things at Chelsea and Arsenal look pretty dire too.

I think that United should be fine this year, and like you say things are worse with those other two for sure. Chelsea is particularly amusing at this point. The transfer ban is obviously an issue because they can't replace Hazard, and sure they're bringing in Pulisic but he seems to shine against the terrible Caribbean nations and otherwise doesn't seem that great. And having Lampard manage them....well that's hilarious!

Amazing how the power has shifted post Fergie not just from United but from the other big two as well.

I'm not sky is falling but not looking forward to next season either. Think it's going to be a painful learning curve.

Will be happier when Pogba is gone. Not a fan of DDG contract talks if true. His play of late hasn't earned it. Harry Maguire? Meh. I'm probably in the minority but would like Lukaku to stay if he can get fit but at the same time if it means ridding the club of Raiola then good.

I don't get why it isn't written into player contracts forbidding the sort of behaviour of Pogba and Raiola. He's employed by the club he should stfu. And for his agent to say they are in "the process" of moving him on. Surely that constitutes tampering?

Young and hungry? You can't win anything with kids!

Maxi Gomez to West Ham? It sounds like it might be happening!

Big statement of intent by West Ham. Set to break club record by signing Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo for £45m. Valencia have dropped out. Gomez turning down Champions League football at Valencia to join West Ham
This is very exciting.

This is very exciting.
Apparently he opted for Valencia for some strange reason. I can't imagine why
