Special teams won us Game 1, and lost us Game 2.
Officiating was insanely frustrating, but we give up a shorty GWG when we finally get a PP chance late... oof.
Didn't see nearly enough from the top line, other than the Toffoli PP goal.

Flames played their 3rd home game in a row. Hopefully getting on the road will sort them out. Need to play with structure. And God damn it stop being so light on the Oilers. Where are the hits!

- Too many point shots missing the net and going the other way
- Marky shaky
- Tanev missed greatly

Wow, that was a ####-show defensively and Markstrom looked like a sieve!
Flames getting the run-around because they’re not playing the heavy forechecking Sutter hockey!

That was almost unwatchable at times. Horrible team defence and Marky couldnt make a big save to bail them out.

Why was the Calgary early whistle not looked at? It wasn't a coaches challenge but the league review the Edmonton one even though you couldn't see the puck. Even if they didn't reverse the call on the ice it would have been a time out at a critical time. I'm genuinely curious why non call was reviewed and the other wasn't.

First line was pretty much invisible even when they got 5 on 5 time. Pretty terrible effort by everyone except Backlund and Andersson after his first gaffe. Refs also made the game worse. Need to get back to outshooting the opponent 50-20
|

Don't care what people say the Flames were just fine in the 1st and 2nd even strength complete control of the play. Hard to play garbage referee roulette, but gotta be mentally stronger and not let that crap take you out of the game.
