I just hope they got the loose play out of their system and can lock things down again. Don't give those idiots up north any hope.

Do you supposed it’ll be the normal 838 puck drop or should I expect 850 or some bull####?

Flames absolutely demoralize the Oilers tonight. 4-0 with another early goal. Shots 51-19

I must say that this season I’ve grown more and more confident with the Flames’ ability to handle the oilers this year. In years past I used to dread these games because I knew that the wonder twins would easy them alive. Now I’m oddly calm. They just seem to have more possession and more chances and for the most part out skate the oilers. Every game this year has been the Flames owning the possession metrics. They got goalied in one game and another was the first game of the year and too many power plays. If they keep playing their game then the oilers are going to have a tough time. That is even before the injury issues to Draisaitl and Nurse. I loved that statement by Darryl that he came back because the Flames were falling behind on how they played. Thank you Darryl for righting the world. E=NG.

I want to see Smith pulled again. That will leave the Oilers with the conundrum of whether or not to go back to him on game 3, or go with Kostikinen, who wasn't any better in relief during game 1.

Not at all. You need 4 Ws, they got one on Wednesday. Full stop.
Now let's go get another one!

I think they learned their lesson
They’ll live and die with smith in net this entire series unless he’s injured

I don't want to post in the Iconic pics thread, so I'll post it here:
that pic needs to be cropped so that it's just Looch, the ref, and the turtle - really zoom in on the humiliation!

I'd say probably 8:50, they've been pretty consistently 20 minutes late

I would assume its because there is a game before hand so they design the 20 minutes late on purpose in case the first game runs late... except for OT.
