Unfortunately I suspect Parrot gets judged harshly here because of the controversy over his previous scores.

Parrot the only remaining Canadian in Big Air with a shot at Gold.

McMorris still with a sleight chance at Silver or Bronze pending a MASSIVE final jump

Parrot scores 76.25.

No Gold for Canada but in Silver medal position.

Things get tense now

His jump just not as big as the others, but he should have a shot at a medal with that.

I love the best 2 jumps format. LAst jump and you could go from near last to first or anywhere in between.

Two jumpers need to pass Parrot to knock him off the podium.

Only 3 left who can do so...

We are killing the bronze medal standings.

I wonder what the record is for the biggest discrepancy between bronze medals and golds for a country. Quite the statistical oddity I would think.

Canada's Gold Medal outlook for the 2022 Olympics continues to look increeeeedibly bleak.

Pending some massive shocks, they might be in line for the worst Winter Olympics Gold Medal output since 1994 where they only got 3 (6 in 1998, 7 in 2002, 7 in 2006, 14 in 2010, 10 in 2014, 11 in 2018)

Almost certain it'll be their worst since 2006

Gold Hopefuls off the top of my head:

Big hopes:

- Women's Hockey
- Women's Long Track Team Pursuit
- Men's Curling
- Men's 5000m Short Track Relay

Medium hopes:

- Men's 4-man Bobsled
- Men's Hockey (big wild card)
- Women's Long Track Mass Start
- Women's Ski Cross

Low hopes:

- Women's Curling (still a tough battle to make Playoffs)
- Women's 2-woman Bobsled
- Women's 1500m Short Track
- Men's Ski Cross

I hope I'm made to look like a complete fool and they rally off double-digit Gold Medals, but right now it's looking rough to put it kindly.

I went back a few years and found two instances of a country being a minus 7 differential in bronze vs gold.

Right now I believe we are minus 11.

Now you have to win a lot of medals to be in this position. It's not exactly a bad thing.

In Vancouver, we had the opposite results. Plus 9.
