So Tracing Point was once the pink Mercedes, and now Aston Martin is now a Green Red Bull.
Red Bull Racing has an excellent tweet about it.

Looks like Mercedes has the porpoising figured out.
Wonder if they will be able to close the gap to RBR and Ferrari.

Only a couple surprises during Qualifying.
Norris losing out in Q2 by a millimeter effectively lucking Danny Ric a spot in Q3.
Alonso not moving beyond Q1 was a massive shocker. But, it does sound like there's something tenuous going at Alpine this weekend. Ocon didn't sound happy and they botched the timing to do their 2nd Q1 lap according to Alonso.
Don't know where Leclerc found almost 3 tenths on Verstappen. I thought Verstappens lap was blitzing. Impressive 1 lap Q3 performance by Leclerc. Especially after a spun out on his first attempt.

That was exactly what this race needed. The championship too. It’s on.

They test there often enough that they should at least try it without. It's been 28 years...it shouldn't really be a safety concern anymore at this point, especially compared to junk like Saudi.
But since that was actually a decent Spanish Grand Prix they probably won't even think about it.

Ferrari in the midst of having their heart broken this season, not just with LeClerc out, but Merc looks to be back. Wouldn't totally surprised me if they end up third by the end of the season. Now that Merc has the porpoising figured, they can get to work on development. I expect them to ramp up.

Merc is still dealing with overheating, and they haven't had to deal with running in hot air for nearly a decade.
This is the first race where a Merc finished ahead of an RBR/Ferrari [that finished the race]...and Sainz spin cost him 35 seconds. I gotta see them beat the others on pace a few times before I'll really believe.
Mercs have finished 12/12 races. RBR/Ferrari have each had 3 retirements. I'd expect that 100% vs. 75% finish rate to close up a bit, too.

I'm not sure how much stock you can put into Merc's overheating trouble this weekend, both Russell (most of the race) and Hamilton (last lap) were dealing with water leaks.
