Nice. I usually love underdog bets but I was compelled to play it safe this weekend. Cinci was really tempting for me but I managed to overcome my urge to chase an underdog bet and I'm kicking myself now for that decision.

Just goes to show that the 49ers will probably be just fine with Lance starting at QB next season. Shanahan insulates his QB's better than anyone.

Yesterday's loss has to be a tough pill for Titans fans to swallow. Tannehill kind of displayed why he's a high floor, low ceiling QB that doesn't function well outside of play-action. Worse is that his cap hit will go from $11.1 million this season to $38.6 million in 2022.

Tough to see Rodgers back with the Packers next year.
I think they're something like 40 over the cap already for next year, so to keep him theyd have to cut Amos, Zadarius and others just for AR, not even looking at Adams yet

As we've seen with the Saints you can keep on manipulating that cap and just kick the can down the road by doing things like giving Taysom a contract that appears to be money laundering. So the Packers can find a way to make it work if they can get Rodgers committed. But this is where the Love pick is such a disaster because you are almost compelled to go with Love next year to see if you have anything before the fifth year option decision comes due. And in getting four first or whatever for Rodgers you can use that to find another QB if Love isn't it, or augment the team to help Love. Should be another fun QB carousel offseason either way.

They are stuck with him next year, but maybe a change in OC will happen. They have a championship defense, and a pro bowl WR and HB, just need Tannehill not to lose the game which he did yesterday. All 3 of his playoff losses he was by far the worst QB and his 2 playoffs wins was when Henry rushed for over 180 yards both games.

The Titans were total frauds though, and lived up to the "worst number 1 seed ever" narrative. I think they could end up bringing the exact same team back, playing the exact same level as this year, and they are an 8-9 team instead of 12-5 simply because of the usual luck factors changing year over year. I think if they want to go bold they should really look to trade Henry and see what they could get for him. My anti-RB bias aside, Foreman looked like a capable back and will cost significantly less against the cap. Henry is reaching the age where decline inevitably starts to happen, so this might be the only window to trade him for decent value.

I can't even argue with you Senator after last night. I honestly thought this year would be different but as they say, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
They should make the playoffs next year because their division is cheeks, but I can't get excited about any regular season win because I know they will find a way to blow it in the playoffs like every other year in franchise history.

Wirfs is out so Rams ML and cover looking pretty good. Until Stafford probably throws the game away, but the Bucs are in trouble for sure.

We can continue to laugh at Cowboys fans.
The Cowboys’ lack of playoff success in the last quarter century is really remarkable. The only ones who’ve gone longer without going to a conference chanmpionship are the f-up teams: Washington, Detroit, Cleveland (if you want to consider the two incarnations the same franchise), Cincinnati, and Miami. The Jags, Falcons, and Titans have three since that time. Panthers have four. Hell, the Jets have three.

I think the overall team is right up there for talent and they need a bit of a QB upgrade. Easier said than done as Tannehill is in that 2nd tier where you could do a lot worse but need better to win a Super Bowl. I don't think Garoppolo isn't an upgrade as he's also very scheme dependant. They need a guy that can go out there and sling it when they are behind or when Henry is hurt or struggling.

Their defence played great. Obviously Julio Jones and AJ Brown are a solid couple of targets. They need a better, more reliable QB and a special teams coach. Honestly even Jared Goff might have been a been a better idea for them. They don't necessarily need an all star they just need someone more or less competent.

Geoff is interesting idea, I think Detroit would like Tannehill because he is pretty good in the regular season. Geoff did make a Superbowl, I'm not opposed to trying it honestly.

Even with a banged up offensive line, I can't bet against Brady. Although with 3 points the Rams could cover. I will say 20-19 for the Bucs. Under 48 is probably the better thing to bet for me.
