That was my main argument when I pushed to allow tickets to sell above face value on CP. I sold my round two tickets this year for $350 each. If I sold them on Fans First I would list them for $400. I'd do the same on Ticketmaster, except on Ticketmaster the buyer would be paying about $480 with their fees. In each scenario, I'm getting about the same take home. The buyers are paying more in the two ticket site versions. Yes, they are above "face value", but selling tickets on CP means zero fees for buyers or sellers, and it keeps the money out of ticketmaster's pockets. I am appreciative that the mods allowed the change.

As agulati noted, game 5 tickets aren't released to ticket holders right away -- unless you paid for the entire playoffs upfront. Once game 5 is needed (and not just "if necessary"), they'll release the tickets, and which point FansFirst will send them to you once they get them.

It's a minor inconvenience as otherwise FansFirst >>> Ticketmaster

Definitely elevators to get up there. They are just left of the main entrance (look for the yellow column). There will still be a couple sets of stairs getting up, but you will skip the climb from the main concourse.

Lol yeah, such a racket. I didn't realize how bad it was when I traded a pair of good tickets for two pairs of tickets of lesser quality.

Thought I would be able to sell one pair easy enough and enjoy the game from slightly less good seats in my price range but those fees crushed me. You know those dudes who start with like an elastic band and trade up for like a Lamborghini? I'm doing it in reverse lol.

The Flames jacked up their prices significantly with this release. $450 for upper second level seats is about 2x what it was during the presale.

Yea, center whites went from $320 before playoffs, to $429 on Monday, to $452 today. Non center whites are same price as center whites as well. All sold. Crazy stuff.

So on Ticketmaster, Stubhub and FansFirst if I bought game 7 resale tickets and the Flames sweep the Oilers, I'm assuming I'm made whole with a refund and no surprise fees?

I think its just this release. The "pre-sale" or whatever that was on Monday, was at regular face values as posted before the start of playoffs.

This batch today was at dumb prices - almost 2x that. Not sure how Flames can defend that if they're claiming its all first issue tickets and not resale.

If you sell on Ticketmaster and get a sellers credit, will that go towards reducing your season ticket amount owing for next season? Or do you just get a credit with ticketmaster for other events??

I believe it just goes towards your next year’s balance. However I always just take the cheque as it lets me keep my options open.

If anybody is on the “pay as we play” plan- are you now able to manage your game 5 tickets? I made a trade with somebody and he is supposed to be sending me the game 5 tickets once they show up for him.
