Yes. He kept upping the payment. And then after the 3rd abortion he reneged and refused to pay.

When each side benefits, toxic tends to stick together.

Both 100% operate out of self interest. When it goes sideways they'll immediately throw the other under the bus. How those sort of personalities roll. If it ever comes down to you or them, they'll cut your throat and leave you for dead without hesitation.

If you have a ounce of real goodness in you, it's so important to be able to recognize those people that never take accountability for anything (never show humility, never apologize, show up only when they stand to benefit) and steer well clear of them.

Honestly I still was thinking bringing him in for nothing would be a good move if the betting on NHL games stuff was proven wrong. Nice guys and good locker rooms are over rated IMO.

Now I wouldn't trade James Neal on a PTO for the guy...really he should be suspended indefinitely.

News of this first came to light in November 2018. That was about 6 months after the Sharks re-signed him to his current contract.

In 2019, Kane was successful in forcing the woman to reveal her name in court documents. So she did.

This most recent court ruling is just the latest update... part of me hopes Kane gets his contract terminated, doesn’t play another NHL game, and gets to live the rest of his life working a “real” job to pay the bills after his bankruptcy sucks up the rest of his savings.

Kane will go down as an afterthought in Winnipeg.

Buff was a one of a kind player and a fan favorite. Well respected in the lockeroom as well and had his teammates back. It would be a different story if a 4th line scrub threw Kanes track suit in the shower.
