Rittich is 25-7-5. Unreal.

That has to be the best record of any goalie heading into the playoffs that may not start game 1. Not even close.

I think he does them early to keep the goalie glued to the near post later in the game. Then it helps open up the net for the cross crease back door play.

For sure. He has the skill. Needs to play a lot harder than that.
