Nobody posted about the Canucks-Avs game? That was a good one to watch and gotta give credit where credit is due. Markstrom was a stud in goal, the Canucks would have been embarrassed without him as he made 43 saves. The Canucks were badly outplayed in the 1st period as the Avs out shot the Canucks 17-8 and only had a 2-1 lead. Leivo tied the game with 3 minutes left in reg time and that gave the Canucks a valuable point. The Canucks main problem is their terrible power play and it was 0 for 5 in this game. The other strange stat is that this was the Avs 2nd OT/SO win out of 14 tries this season. The win puts the Avs in a tie with the Wild for the last 2 playoff spots, just 1 point up on the Stars. The Avs needed that ROW as they have 27 of them, the Stars have 31.

The Bhawks had Corey Crawford in net as he's back from his injury and made 29 saves in the victory. Chicago's special teams did well with a PPG (Debrincat) and a SHG (Anisimov). The Ducks also had a SHG (Shore). Kane scored the GWG with 16 seconds left in reg time, his 40th goal of the season. Good for him, opposing teams don't seem to cover him that well in the late stages of the 3rd period. The win puts the Bhawks in a tie for 11th place with the Canucks, 5 points back of the Avs and Wild.

The Lightning are simply toying with everyone as the regular season winds down. Good come back by the Rangers, but, Tampa Bay can play any style and win and their star players are very strong. Kucherov had 3 points, Hedman and Stamkos had 2 points each. Tampa's PK was perfect at 6 for 6.

LOL on the Oilers getting laughed at on national TV. Okay, take a shower everyone, seeing the Leafs win isn't a great feeling.

I agree, that was interference. It did not contribute to the goal.
