tough spot for the DPoS. One the one hand, I feel they love to turn a blind eye to Tom Wilson, but on the other hand, anything against the Leafs is considered murder.

Would have liked a couple of games more, but I hate players like Tom Wilson, so I don't claim objectivity here.

He has been suspended five times previously, including once for 20 games (reduced to 14 games after an appeal to an arbitrator) for an illegal check to the head. Before Friday, his last suspension was seven games for boarding in 2021.

This is a guy I would love to ban from the league altogether. Every year there are 2 or 3 "Tom Wilson incidents" that are so far beyond a normal play in hockey. This is a great example.

It’s funny to hear them say “we acknowledge he did not mean to hit him in the face”. BS. He totally meant to. Wilson deserves karma in the biggest way. Garbage player.

6 games given his history seems low to me. Tom Wilson using his stick as a weapon to target his opponents head should justify a much more severe penalty IMO. Give him 15 games and those first few missed Capitals playoff games really punish both player & team.

Didn't you see the pathetic puff piece on TSN where he said he takes more shots doing this job then he did when he played and they all laughed?

Maybe if there was any sort of transparency and explanation as opposed to just trivial spin the wheel justi ce it wouldn't be the case. Dudes a clown, the whole player safety department is a joke and I'll never understand what one guy does is a crime compared to another.

His appeal reducing a previous suspension of less 6 games should have been tacked on here

Furthermore he should be told not to expect any future appeals. He should face no less than 50 games as a result of repeated dooshbaggery.

Why is this clown - coward in the league. He's one more suspension away from Marty Mcsorely or worse where the next guy has his career ended as a result.
