No real option for Fulham here. I think that they've been pretty disappointing, and they brought in a couple nice pieces this year.

Pretty disappointing is an understatement. They've been a total failure given how much they invested in the squad.

I have zero issues with them maintaining the current structure until they get the correct personnel in place. I don't see how having a run of bad managers warrants restructuring the club.

It's not a matter of immediate results. If it was SAF would have been canned before things turned around. It's a matter of seeing progress, hope, happy players, confident players. A team spirit. VG and Mourinho have sucked the life out of the club. Who in their right mind would want to go there at the moment?

Biggest mistake made by any of the post SAF managers was Moyes gutting the back room team against Fergies advice. The pieces were already in place for a winning culture for him to learn from but he simply decided to P45 them all.

They need to bring in someone with some excitement to the club

I dont think they would do it, but i think Eddie Howe would be such a perfect fit, just bring a more positive attitide around the club, more of a players manager

Its probably going to be zidane, or someone with proven European experience, but I think this is the time to go young and exciting

I think the major resistance to VAR is from the referees who are going to become painfully aware how often and how badly they constantly screw up.

And get ready for a minimum of 2+ penalties per game.

It's weird though. There are times when they make a call and my first thought is that they're completely wrong. Then you see the replay (or at least I do) and they're right! Could be an offside where the guy is barely offside at all, or a challenge where they've actually nailed it.

To me the issue is that you have these reviews taking place and no one has a clue what's going on. At least when they go to the TMO in rugby everyone knows what's happening and you can hear the rationale. But watching the VAR implementation last year in the FA Cup was just horrible. Particularly the Spurs/Rochdale match where goals were called back and no one knew why, or people are left guessing.

Are Chelsea intentionally trying to blind me with their kits?

I was hoping for 0-0 or perhaps the mythical -1 to -1 where both teams lose 3 points each, but I figure Spurs are more likely to stumble later down the stretch so while this isnt ideal its okay.

And finally Crystal Palace cause problems for someone other than Liverpool for a change.

Sonny and eriksen were rested, eriksens was injury related, but making the deal with SK that sonny could play in asian games but then he would skip two international breaks really paid off here. Both were electric all game, sonny legitimately could have had 5 goals, 4 were clear cut chances he finishes like 80% of the time

I think thats the 2nd time this year that the best front 4 have all played together, and it makes a huge difference. They need to start next sunday vs arsenal

Which being healthy allows, because lucas and lamela likely start vs inter

Ill add a 3rd, sissiko was incredible, outplayed kante at kante things, his last few games have all been really good, if he can be a consistent CM its gonna make a hige difference

Also for chelsea, i think this has sort of been coming, but poch showed how to shut them down and that is to take out jorginho, dele was over him all game and it worked to a tee, they had no outlet passing and resorted to long balls from luiz in the 2nd half.

Nah, you're a rational fan who realizes short term suffering is needed for long term benefit. Plus you've seen time and again Mourinho get out of jail with comebacks, 2-0 is pretty easy to overcome.
