Wow!!! Tha was awesome. I feel like that was overdue after some good performances (Not the Ottawa game) but being a bit unlucky.

They needed a good solid home performance.

Hell of a game by the good guys. Now if they could just do the same thing to the Oilers the next time they play them, that would be swell.

Play like that and the result will be the same. Flames were relentless.

Flames have been good since putting these lines together.

Beat a strong Florida team.

Dominated Edmonton but got PDO’d (which was inevitable considering the Oilers streak)

And now probably one of the most dominating games of the season in the entire NHL against the Blues.

Wow, great game. Top line was buzzing, but I thought that was the best I've seen monahan play in 2 years.

Blues were terrible tonight.

First line was great tonight but early on when it was still close I thought Monahan looked very good again. He’s really starting to play at a much higher level.

Monahan is really starting to get his confidence back and its showing.

The last few games for Monahan have been VERY encouraging. Backlund might have had his best game of the year as well.

These would be very good things if they are trends, and not just the result of a dominant game.

Coleman and Backlund were looking good too but Monahan actually looks like a threat out there. The pp could be dominant if he can keep it going and the lines will look a ton better if we can get Monahan playing like he used to.

Needs to stay healthy too

Just baffled. You smack the Panthers and the Blues but in between you lose to the hopeless Oilers?

Not even mad just totally confused. The Oilers are horrendous.

How many multi point games is that now for Matthew Tkachuk, a 5 point night and Johnny Gaudreau with 4 as well.

Tkachuk is flying under the radar I think, he's a having a great season and Johnny too but he's UFA this season.

Great win.

I think Darryl and the Flames were taking it easy with Monahan due to the injuries and that's why he's playing down in the lineup. Playing on the first line you're up against the other teams top defenders and taking a beating especially in front of the net. I think Monahan will be fine.

Gaudreau on pace for 106pts
Tkachuk on pace for 93pts

The chemistry they are forming is really impressive. Glad Sutter put the best 3 forwards on a line.
