I believe the grand parent bought it? They can do anything they want when it comes to spoiling their grand kids.

You can view your usage in the settings of the actual iPhone, but you want something more indepth than that?

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but the Men's Health workout app is great. Tracks weight history, time spent. You can email the logs. It's really neat. Comes loaded with a ton of good workouts too.

My latest app that was recommended to me is "itunnel 3d". Pretty decent time waster game.
I was also told about "Hipstamatic". It's only $2, but with me never really using my camera, I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this app and is it worth it?
Also I have an idea for an app, or I have an idea that I wish my iphone did, does anyone know how to go about getting this created?

tried out the justin.tv app. it works surprisingly well over 3g.
the couple channels i tried loaded faster than a youtube video, and had very few lags or drops.
i think results may vary depending on channels.

Anyone know of an app to listen to World Cup games? Free or otherwise.

Stock watch is great for stocks. Better than the Apple one IMO.
Text+ for texting your friends if you have no texting plan or use a touch.
Monopoly, Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds, DoodleJump and Plants Vs. Zombies are the games I play. Rock Band isn't too bad and SF IV would be fun for anyone who likes the series.
I really want to try Robot Unicorn Attack because that is an awesome game online. Just waiting b/c the "released" versions are not working yet...

That brings up an interesting question...
Which stock market app do some of you guys prefer? I've been sticking with Bloomberg pretty much since day one, but is there a better one I'm missing out on?

+2. My fiancee isn't really into games, and I actually had to force my iPhone into her hand so she would try it. As it stands this game was the "TSN Turning Point" for her getting her own iPhone next month when her contract is up.
Not sure if it was mentioned, but the Bell PVR app is pretty sweet. It's free, and if you don't hook your receiver to your LAN you can still send record signals down the satellite data stream. But hook up the LAN and you can pretty much control the entire PVR from anywhere.
You can use it to control what the kids are watching, organize the PVR (maybe I'll actually have time to do this while on the bus), and really if you want to you could seriously fata with somebody at home by making the receiver do things.

So, question for those of you who know- is there any way to get current apps to run on a 1st generation iPod Touch? It would be great if we could get Angry Birds onto my fiancee's iPod. I even went and paid for it again on her iTunes only to find out that applications don't just transfer.

If it’s not supported, there’s no way around it, it’s a hardware limitation. The first gen Touches had far less memory (RAM) than the later units
