Had to be the back bar, cause when the puck came down it landed inside the goal line before coming back out.

What??? I think you were watching a different game. We were barely holding on for the better portion of regulation.

This team has been great on the road all year, would like to see Valimaki get rotated in.

Which streak will get longer?

The Flames have lost nine consecutive season-openers, dating back to 2009.

or

The Flames have lost nine consecutive "Game 2"s, dating back to 2004.

The Flames are in a hole lot of trouble, whether its in this series or the next. Biggest fear seems to be a reality, they don't have another gear. If its not for Smith, they are down 0-2, and this is a 1 v 8 matchup.

Well that sucks.

The only positive is this guarantees a game 5, which I'm coming to Calgary for and it will be my first playoff game.

I'm a little concerned though. Flames have looked like junk so far this series. Very well could be 2 games to 0 for the Avs if not for Smith. Where are the Flames that we all know and love this year? I can hardly remember any games this whole season when the Flames have been so clearly outplayed.

lol, how did you react with this to my post?

We almost stole one, but you've have to be blind to think the Avs weren't the better team tonight. I didn't even say we were dominated.

I think the flames will ropeadope them over the course of the series. I don't think the flames have even woken up yet. You got signs of it late in the game though. I think we're going to see a lot more of that strong possession flames game going forward.

I'm really confident in these guys on the road, especially after getting fed their desert on home ice. Young team has to learn by going through it.

Avs game plan was to throw all they had into getting this split. That was the series for them. Flames now need to respond in kind in their barn and take two from them. Flames can do it.
