Quote:
[While details are still sparse, it appears that Ghostbusters 3 will be filmed in Calgary.
Damian Petti, head of the film workers union IATSE 212, confirmed late Wednesday afternoon that the Jason Reitman-shot sequel has been confirmed to shoot in the city, although no other details were available. The comedy is expected to be released in the summer of 2020.
“Local 212 can confirm we’ve spoken to Sony and they intend to bring Ghostbusters 3 to Calgary. No dates have been announced,” said Petti.

What actors are involved and are they high profile? Most importantly what are their views on oil and gas and climate change and are they going to be uninformed ignorant idiotic mouthpieces?
Because honestly if it’s a guy like DiCaprio, who should be banned from Canada and trashed at every opportunity, no thanks.

Ghostbusters 4 involves a trip to the mirror universe and post-apocalyptic time-travel. So, Edmonton.

I was expecting some Oscar worthy performance by Andy Serkis where Slimer’s backstory is finally revealed through a series of flashbacks to 17th France.
He was a French nobleman who eventually discovered German sausages. He stole a witches’ bratwurst, and she set a curse upon him.

There have been two Slimer origin stories. For the original slimer he's the ghost of a morbidly obese king named King Remils who died of a heart attack.
For the recent ghostbuster film there's a deleted scene where Slimer was the ghost of a gangster who murdered a waitress for messing up his order

Those are horrible backstories, and they make no sense about his form. He must have been cursed by a wtich. All the other ghosts of people are bear some human likeness.

Dude I agree, I didn't make them up the first backstory came from the real ghostbusters comic. The second written by Kevin Feige and it was a deleted scene.
