Whats funny is that this game was originally going to be at the new Mosaic Stadium in Regina but the team/stadium operators didn't want to mess with their field. I recall 960 mocking them for this. Well, looks like they knew what was up.

They should have played on the CFL size field. Would have been interesting.

Sounds like the 80 yard field was Green Bay's decision as Gruden said after the game; "I'm not going to make a big deal about the field. We like the field. We thought the field was perfect and ready to roll. You'd have to ask Green Bay about that." Personally I can't criticize the Packers as they have to do what's best for their players in their eyes and that square wasn't desirable at all.

For the Stamps fans on here, I don't think Marken Michel is going to make the Eagles final roster. He had a strong spring and early summer but has kind of trailed off since then. He'd be a great practice squad candidate if he's eligible but I don't know how PS salaries compare to CFL salaries. Alex Singleton could make the team but I wouldn't bet on it.

Everything I've heard Singleton has been graded highly, He's an ideal special teams demon for the Eagles. I think that practice squad players make a minimum of $5700.00 a week. The lure of US dollars is going to be huge for Michel. Plus even if he gets cut he'll probably get picked up by another team.

Yeah the next preseason game is going to be huge for Michel. He's competing with Greg Ward and Mack Hollins for one of the final WR spots. Hollins is a former 4th round pick for the Eagles who missed last year due to injury but is an absolute monster on special teams and a pretty solid depth WR, so Michel definitely didn't do himself any favours with his dumb ST penalty last night.

Andrew Luck retiring? Huh ok. Cool that Indy will get a 3rd straight top flight QB.

certainly no Colts fan mostly because of Irsay, but have been impressed with the work Ballard has done putting a team together. big step back for the Colts. On to the Jacoby Brissett era.

This is a pretty shocking development given the season Luck had last year. Looks like a good year to tank to get a QB but the Dolphins are probably the leading contenders for 1st overall.

I'm a Colts fan and devastated but with that being said, people that think the Colts are now going to be one of the worst teams in the league is hilarious. They still have a pretty good shot at winning the weak AFC South. Brissett isn't a bad QB. There were reports teams were offering a 1st round pick for him and the Colts had no interest in moving him. Ballard has put together an extremely talented deep young team.
